The Future Photonics Hub has announced funding for four new research projects that seek to develop next-generation photonics technologies with manufacturing and ease of integration at their core. £250K from the Future Photonics Hub Innovation Fund, supported by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (ESPRC), has been awarded to research projects led by four UK universities. The four projects will bring added-value to the Future Photonics Hub, supporting its research to develop new lower-cost, higher-performing and better integrated photonic devices and systems.
Awarded projects:
The Future Photonics Hub Innovation Fund, launched in September 2016, will operate an annual call to enable the inclusion of academic partners who bring additional capabilities to the Hub programme and strengthen its research programme across its core themes:
The 2017/18 call will open in autumn 2017. Details will be available on this website, or to receive notifications, please subscribe to our newsletter.
