The Chalcogenide Advanced Manufacturing Partnership (ChAMP) launched on 9 March 2015 with a record-breaking open day at the University of Southampton. The event, held in conjunction with the first-ever Photonex Southampton exhibition, attracted over 200 delegates from academia and industry, setting a new record attendance for such an event at the University. But those who were unable to attend on the day need not miss out on latest developments and impact of chalcogenide research and development.

We are pleased to announce that presentations and posters from the event are now available to download from the ChAMP website.

These include talks from the work package leaders and industrial partners, providing valuable insights into how these glasses can be processed and factors driving their adoption in both passive and active applications.

ChAMP, an EPSRC-funded partnership between five leading universities (Southampton, Heriot-Watt, Exeter, Oxford and Cambridge) and 15 industrial partners, is dedicated to establishing the UK as a world leader in chalcogenide glass technology through the development of advanced manufacturing techniques and practical application demonstrations.
